Kentucky Obituary: SCOTTSVILLE
Kentucky State Police have opened a murder investigation of the death of a 34-year-old woman whose body was found at her home Friday. State police said the victim was Conella Hale Dempsey of Scottsville, who was found in her bed at 9:35 a.m. Friday. Police said an autopsy Saturday by Barbara Weakley-Jones, deputy state medical examiner, determined that Dempsey died of suffocation. Allen County Coroner Lex Carter said Dempsey's supervisor and a co-worker found the body when they went to see why she had not shown up for work at Dollar General. No arrest had been made, police said.
