Motion of William Spencer for summons to be issued for Wyatt Williams to show cause why infant children of Alexander Buckhanon should not be taken from him and bound out as apprentice, Motion of Malkiah Francis for summons for Fanny Prances to show cause why her infant should not be taken from her and bound out. Sale bill for the estate of Nancy C. Blewitt recorded. Settlement of John Hickman, executor of Jesse L. Hickman's estate, recorded. JM. J.. Wagoner, administrator of the estate of David Wagoner, filed her petition to settle the estate. It is ordered that process be issued against the defendant William L. Wagner, Sally Wagner, Elizabeth J. Guy, Moses Mayhew as guardian for William D. Mayhew, John W. Mayhew, Henry A. Mayhew, Agnes J, Mayhew and George Taylor Mayhew, infant children of said Moses Mayhew, Robert Garrison, David Miller, Samuel Guy, William Guy, T. T, Williams, William Dodd, Francis Mayhew and James Harris. Andrew M. Alexander, heir and creditor of the estate of James M, Alexander, deceased, filed petition to settle the estate. Wyatt Buckhanon and Sidney H. Buckhanon, infants of Alexander Buckhanon, deceased. Elijah Moore, administrator of Z. Bridges vs. Nancy Bridges and others was continued to next term. Wyatt Williams was appointed guardian to W. W. Williams, infant of L. B. Williams, deceased. Martin Loafman appointed guardian to William E. Loafman, infant of William Loafman, deceased.

Joseph Venable, security of Permelia Caruth, guardian of Catherine Caruth, Taphoth Caruth, Hiram Caruth, Frances Caruth, Nancy Caruth and Eliza Caruth, infant heirs of Mark Caruth, asked for counter security. Nathan Veatch was declared not fit to bring up his infant children and the court ordered his infant sons, James Veatch, William Veatch and Jackson Veatch bound out. Summons was issued against Abel Lee, guardian of Sarah E. Lee, Isaac T. Lee, Nancy J. Lee, Katharine D. Lee, infant children of Daniel Lee, to give added security.

The declaration of Martha Giles, widow of John Giles, deceased, an old Revolutionary Soldier and pensioner was produced in court with affidavits of Mark Anderson, his wife .......... Anderson, Robert Y, McReynolds, Joseph V. Heeler and Charles F. Harvy.

The declaration of Mrs. Fanny Warden supported by affidavits of William Warden and James V. Pinson on July 23, 1855 stated that Elisha Warden, a Revolutionary Pensioner of the United States on the Kentucky Agency at $21 a year departed this life in this county on December 19, 1835. Will of Elijah Hinton proved by John McReynolds, G. L. Guy, and Bennett Hinton was executor. A. A. Harvy was appointed guardian of James A. Dearing, John W. Dearing, Samuel P. Dearing and William B. Dearing, infant orphans under 14 of Shelton Dearing. Sarah A, Dearing, Robert Dearing, Major C. Dearing, William E. Dearing and Ann E. Dearing, orphans of Shelton Dearing, over 14, chose A. A. Harvy guardian. Nancy Johnson, widow of John Johnson who died intestate, relinquished her right of administration and appointed Andrew J. Johnson executor. He made bond with C. M. Johnson, W. W. Oliver, S. L. Richey and Daniel P. Oliver as security.
